 Co-op Sports Champions Once Again!!!

Co-op Sports FC Sunday 1st team once again won themselves a Bedfordshire FA County Cup; this time beating opponents FC Houghton 3-1 in normal time. Goals came courtesy of a standard 30 yard strike from Alex Thorrington and a well deserved brace from Man of the Match Chris Vardy.
We would like to thank all of the supporters that came to watch and celebrated with us long into the night. |

Co-op Sports FC reach yet another Cup Final!!!

Co-op Sports FC have played themselves yet again into another Cup Final. This time its Bedfordshire FA's Sunday Junior County Cup Final.
This will be the the Sunday 1st teams 3rd County Cup Final after previously winning the Beds FA Centenery Cup & Beds FA Lower Junior Cup.
They comfortably cruised past Semi Finalist opposition Hockliffe Lions 4-0 with two goals from Pete Gray and one a piece from Jason Young & captain Kev McManus. Man of the match for the game was Chris Vardy who ran their back 4 ragged; setting up 2 goals in the process.
The final will be against fellow NHCSFL opponents FC Houghton and is to be played on Sunday 22nd April with an 11am kickoff at Biggleswade United FC, Second Meadow, Fairfield Road, Biggleswade, SG18 0BS.
We have put a coach on so that players and fans can travel up together in the morning of the fixture! Please see the posters up in the club for details or contact Dickie on 07828 784049. |

The Co-op Sports Movember team have been sporting beautifully trimmed moustaches for the past month and are proud to announce that between them they have raised £956.38!!!

Co-op Sports FC are on the lookout for new sponsors for the 2011/12 season.
We offer various levels of exposure from website advertising boxes to full kit frontage advertising; with prices starting from as little as 17p per day.
The club has always looked after it's sponsors and makes every effort to ensure that it's investors get as much return for their money as possible. You can also be reinsured that your funds will not be wasted in any way but will be used in continuing to secure the clubs future in adult football and following our recent Charter Status acheivement; we are looking to branch out into youth football. Your views of how the investment is spent will always be taken into account and progress reports submitted regulary.
